There are a LOT of informational e-books that you get access to when you join My Internet Business. Each e-book delves into one aspect of making money online through Internet marketing efforts. Today I read a book about blogging for profit. I learned a lot on the subject and have some things to share!
It's true that blogging is one way to make money. Not only can you make money directly from your blog, but by simply having a blog that you update regularly, you can market your main business website. Blogging is one of the best ways to drive your target market to your main website. (Remember, the more traffic you get there, the more successful your business will be!)
One great thing about blogging is that it's free! You don't need to have any technical knowledge to set up a blog. If you can read and write, then you're set to go. Simply choose a blogging service and complete the sign up process.
Whatever it is you're trying to sell, be sure to devote your blog entries to that product. For example, if you're running a sewing business that focuses on children's apparel, be sure to update your blog as often as possible (daily is best) with posts about your products. Take pictures and tell your readers about new clothing items you're offering in your online shop, discuss sales and promotions, etc. You want your blog to be rich in content that will rocket you up to the top of search engine rankings.
Now that you have a blog and topic to focus on, start writing! Be sure to sprinkle keywords throughout your post. With the sewing business example from before, excellent keywords would include "children's clothing", "boutique clothing", "handmade children's clothing", etc. Be sure to link to your main website at least once with each post, but never more than 3 times.
That's a quick overview of how a blog can be used to promote your main website and thus draw in more sales. Now, I also mentioned that blogs can be a direct money-making method. One way that works is through Google AdSense. Have you ever visited a website that had clickable links off to the side? Likely, the links had something to do with the topic of the website or blog you were viewing. That would be AdSense. For each unique click that a link gets, the advertising business pays Google for driving traffic to their site. Google, in turn, pays the owner of the website with the AdSense a small bit of money. This small bit of money can grow to be a healthy amount if you receive a high amount of traffic to your blog. It's all about Internet "traffic". The more traffic your blog gets, the more chances that someone is going to click on an AdSense link, which of course results in more money!
So that's a basic overview of how blogging can earn you some money. The My Internet Business opportunity provides you with an abundance of e-books devoted just to the topic of making money through blogging.
